Booking Terms and Conditions
Confirmation of a booking by the Client is deemed acceptance of these terms.
In these terms of business, the expression ‘Accommodation’ means the Accommodation operated by the Accommodation defined in the Client’s confirmation -and ‘Client’ means the person, firm or company making a booking or staying at the Accommodation. These terms apply to all bookings except to the extent that specific terms apply for a particular booking.
In the rare case that the Accommodation cannot accept a booking guests will be offered a full refund. In the case of an act of God (strike, war, etc), the Accommodation will do its utmost to find an alternative accommodation in another accommodation but will not be held responsible if this is not possible.
Bookings must be guaranteed by a 1/3 of the total booking non refundable deposit payable either by BACS or debit/credit card. At certain times full payment is required . There is no agent involved in this booking process; the contract is concluded between you as the Customer and us as the Business.
Arrival and departure
Bedrooms are normally available from 3pm earlier by prior arrangement, We don’t really have a set check in time ,if you are attending a wedding/.function and wish to come before to change, collect keys etc we do endeavour to have your room(s) ready. Please could ALL clients advise prior to arrival estimated time of arrival.
Cancellations, amendments and non-arrivals
Cancellations: As already stated deposits are non-refundable if however we are able to relet the room(s) we will refund the deposit, for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to arrival full payment of the stay will be paid.
Amendments: To amend your booking, simply call. Cancellation charges apply where applicable.
Most major credit and debit cards are accepted or BACS or cash regrettably no cheques.
The Accommodation does not accept responsibility for damage to, or for theft from, or for theft of vehicles parked on Accommodation premises.
Clients are recommended to have insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.
Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult to ensure that the children’s behaviour is appropriate for other guests within the Accommodation. Supervision of all children is the responsibility of the parents/guardians. The owners regret that they cannot be responsible for your child(ren) . This is a working farm and so there is farm machinery in use and livestock. If you would like to have a tour of the farm or watch the cows being milked whilst staying with us please ask one of us.
Disabled guest rooms
At present we have no rooms designed for disabled guests
Dogs and other pets
Pets are not accepted at the accommodation. In the instance when a guest arrives with a pet, the accommodation reserves the right to terminate the booking without being liable for any refund or compensation.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere throughout the accommodation or near the farm buildings, in the event of a client suspected of smoking in the accommodation the accommodation will terminate the booking without being liable for any refund or compensation.
The Accommodation reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of Clients, guests or representatives, who must take all steps for corrective action as requested by the Accommodation. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, the Accommodation will terminate the booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.
It is required to have permission from the owners to use the swimming pool and the rules which are posted on the entrance door must be read and strictly adhered to.
It is the policy of the Accommodation not to discriminate on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, creed, sex, marital status, age, ethnic origin or disability. Clients, their employees, guests and all sub-contractors engaged by or on behalf of the Client are expected to adhere to this policy and the Accommodation may, without incurring any liability to the Client, remove from the Accommodation any person or persons offending against this policy.
Comments and complaints
If the clients have any problems with the accommodation they must contact the owners immediately so that the problem can be resolved.
The Accommodation is subject to statutory controls, including those relating to fire, licensing, entertainment, health, hygiene and safety. These must be strictly observed by Clients.
Other than for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Accommodation, the Accommodation’s liability to the Client is limited to the price of the booking. Unless the Accommodation is liable under the above clause, the Client indemnifies the Accommodation from and against any and all liability and any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from the booking, event or function, the Client, guests or any outside contractors of the Client. The Accommodation will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond its reasonable control. The Accommodation does not accept responsibility whatsoever for damage to, or theft from, or theft of, vehicles parked on the Accommodation premises. Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment in them by any act, omission, default or neglect of the Clients, their guests or sub-contractors and will pay to the Accommodation on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.
The information provided by the Client may be processed by the accommodation for the purposes it has notified to the Information Commissioner. By confirming the booking, the Client consents to this processing of the information.
